In this year’s keynote, there were talks about several much-awaited updates, technologies, and innovations that could make our lives easier at so many levels. Since we always have our phones, if nothing else, in our hands, Google has come up with ideas that a lot of things can be accessed through the phone without using the actual thing designated for the purpose.

The first and major highlight of the event was the announcement of the Android 12 update. There are major visual changes and User-interface updates, which will make our phones ‘deeply personal’. Other updates are related to Privacy and new features for general ease of accessibility. Google claims that this new update to android will make our phones 22% faster. Second thing that was highlighted in the keynote was the collaboration of Samsung and Google to come up with a new Wearable Operating System, which promises 30% faster application launches, longer battery life, and a new consumer experience. It also introduced Google’s recently acquired Fitbit platform to build a ‘world-class fitness and health’ tracker in the smartwatch. There are several other features that would make the use of the watch easier included in the updated OS. Learn more about them in detail here.

Google is also introducing a smarter and more interactive workplace called Smart Canvas, which will help to convert the document into an interactive, up-to-date actionable plan in which the team can stay connected every step of the plan. It includes the features to start a Google meeting within the document itself. With this Smart Canvas and the minor updates in Google Meet, the workspace experience will be much more efficient. The thing that makes this more appealing is that this workspace is available not only to paying customers but to everyone else. To know more, click here.
